Constitution alteration EGM Wednesday 18th May 2016

Hello everyone,

Please see the Altered Constitution here.

We are proposing an alteration to the club’s constitution. The overwhelming majority of these changes are just small changes and rewording to clarify things, however, there is one significant change:

This version of the constitution will allow us to roll out our planned membership system. This was the system I wrote about a few weeks ago now where you could become a club member for £1 and in return you’d be considered a club member – thus eligible to vote in elections, AGMs, you’d be part of our numbers, your name would be on the sign-in sheet rather than having to write it in manually, reduced entry fees for events (where viable), access to the IoU system and other things.

An EGM will be held on Wednesday, May 18th, 2016 to vote on this proposed change to the constitution.

I hope you’ll all support our plans because I personally think it’s a great idea and would like to see it implemented.

Hope you all take a quick glance over the new constitution (you can see where it’s changed from the old by looking at the strike-through text and the blue text)
