Board Games Night & Adventurers League

A couple of interesting events for you all next week – a D&D info session on Monday, and this coming Wednesday is monthly Board Games Night! Bring your board games and let’s all have a bit of a break from the usual and try something new!

Board Games Night, Wednesday 26th July

Feel free to invite your friends and try something you’ve never tried before, or play with some people who you wouldn’t usually play with! The Board Games Night is the perfect opportunity to expand your horizons, try something new, and maybe discover something new that you love!

The club has loads of board games which you have never played (not even I have played them all!) so there is plenty to pick from, and if you aren’t sure what to try, feel free to look me out and ask me for suggestions! (If you haven’t tried Pandemic yet, give it a shot, it is excellent!)

And finally, it’s a great opportunity to learn the rules for a game that you’re not familiar with, as there are a lot of people at the club and it’s almost assured that someone knows the rules! Feel free to ask me if you see me – if I don’t know the answer, I can direct you to someone who does!

Information Session & Character Creation, Monday 24th July

Are you interested in trying out Dungeons & Dragons, or do you need to make a new character? Maybe you want to tweak an existing character, but you aren’t sure about how to go about it. Perhaps you want to know how to make the most optimal character or you have some D&D rules questions?

I will be hosting a D&D Adventurers League information session and character creation workshop next Monday, the 24th of July. This is due to the fact that I have a third D&D Adventurers League group starting up, but anyone is welcome to join – whether to create a character, just to chat about Dungeons & Dragons or to see if the Adventurers League suits them.

If anyone is interested, I invite you to come along and join my information and character creation session on Monday 24th. There may not be space to accommodate everyone who wishes to join the party, and preference will be given to new members and new players, but if anyone is interested in what is involved or in D&D in general, you’re more than welcome to sit in.
